Just stayed at a hotel near Penn Station. The staff were super helpful and the rooms were clean and quiet. LOVED the location - would go back for sure! Better than the photos!

Although the bed had a metal bar sticking out, causing some inconvenience, the room was good for two and the washroom was great. Overall a positive experience in the heart of Manhattan.

Our room was immaculately clean and recently renovated with very comfortable bed and rooftop view, for example. A shower, hairdryers and terry cloth bathrobes was a plus.

This was a perfect 10/10 stay, decent prices. Consistently courteous stuff, not expensive breakfast, ideal location short walk to Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, several good eateries. The bed was extremely comfy, the room was cozy and well-appointed.

They have a terrace at street level, which could be nice Muniz. However, the furniture is stacked or uncomfortable, which does not invite you to sit down or gives a bad image of the hotel.

The hotel is clean and the staff are brilliantly friendly! Need to be mentioned that there were lots of restaurants to eat, like Friedman's that was only 5 minutes' walk away.

The location of the hotel was top-notch, I could easily walk to all the main spots and the subway station was just around the corner. The free breakfast with a variety of delicious pastries and great coffee was a perfect way to start the day.

pricing policy:. earlier booked room smaller and more expensive than the room of the same category with later booking. rooftop bar: vouchers promised at the time of booking are not valid. rooftop a bit rundown / not open until 5 pm / music so loud that you can't talk.

The level of comfort provided by the bed and pillows at this hotel was beyond expectations, ensuring a restful night's sleep. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate early check-in and hold luggage after checkout, showcasing excellent customer service. the availability of amenities like a powerful hairdryer and a variety of TV channels added to the overall positive experience. the only downside was the limited bar hours and occasional maintenance issues.

The location is ideal for walking or weather walking in Manhattan.

The rooftop bar hosts extremely noisy private parties until very late at night. Besides feeling like you're next to the sound system in a nightclub, it prevents you from accessing it, so we don't know what view you have from the rooftop.

There was no ventilation in the bathroom, shower was made in such a way that during the bath the water was all over the bathroom on the floor... all the time it was wet and dirty...

The doorman was the highlight, always going the extra mile, making my son adore him; the efficient housekeeping staff quickly replenished towels. Check-in and out flexibility was a huge plus, and the room had a pleasing view within walking distance to major landmarks. 🏙️ Despite the room's pleasant decor and amenities, the shower's half-glass coverage led to some water splashing, and there were minor discrepancies with the bedding cleanliness but did not detract from my enjoyable stay.

Bed size a little small

location is excellent for manhattan. all sights are easily accessible. room was well furnished, generous for nyc, with interesting comfort features such as a free mobile phone and 4 usb ports in the socket. quarter is quiet.

twice the room was unmade, in six nights. service in the rooftop restaurant was beneath any dignity of the customer. two idle employees kept us waiting in the empty restaurant mykonos for a quarter of an hour without taking any order.

the rooms at hayden are cozy and exceptionally clean. the location is prime for all the things we wanted to do – convenient to restaurants - coffee houses - shopping, and sightseeing. the staff is nice and customer-oriented - allowing us to check in early so we could start exploring right away.

Would definitely recommend.

The rooftop bar provides a breathtaking view of the city skyline and is perfect for pre-dinner cocktails. It felt like being in a scene from a glamorous movie, sipping on a cocktail while taking in the spectacular cityscape. The ambiance was unmatched, and it made for a truly memorable experience.

Room temperature was excessively hot.

Without a doubt the best thing about the hotel is its workers, they always served us very kindly and efficiently. They made you feel at home from the first day. Special mention for Anthony. service is perfect, rooms have everything and bed is very comfortable, perfect to rest. rooms were cleaned every day and if you need something else they could take it up to your room. Coffee and water always in the room. location is very central, with a metro stop 2 minutes away in the same street, you can walk to time sq in a walk. street is full of flower shops, in the morning you can appreciate the good smell. quality/price ratio is very good, we would come back without thinking about it.

To put some glitches in the air conditioning system, the control was not working and was always at random temperature without being able to be modified. The only way to stop it at night to avoid the noise was to disconnect the device.

The location is excellent, we were able to walk around the city thanks to the location so close to the hotel, as well as the size of the rooms (much larger than the average in NY). The nearby restaurants and bars perfectly complement the stay at the Hayden Hotel.

There are few, if any, obstacles we can put to the hotel. Perhaps the price is high but in relation to the rest of the hotels in NY and services that the Hayden Hotel presents we would repeat it without a doubt in this hotel!

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. From the front desk to the concierge, everyone was welcoming and helpful. the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and quiet, making it easy to relax after a long day of sightseeing. the location was just beyond the chaos of tourist-heavy areas, providing a peaceful retreat tucked away on a charming floral district side street. I could easily walk to most places I wanted to visit, making it a prime spot for exploring the city.

One thing that could be improved at this hotel is the breakfast selection. While the rooftop bar was a great spot, offering nice drink options, the breakfast was a bit basic with too many sweet choices and only one savory option.

The location of the hotel... absolutely ideal! (5 min walk from Penn Station). The size of the room was very correct for a full center of Manhattan.

We arrived 24 hours late (flight cancelled from Paris). Of course, as mentioned at the time of booking, the first night was charged (normal)... but most of all, our room with a King size bed turned into a room with 2 separate beds... too bad for the week as a couple.

From the rooftop, I marveled at the skyline view while sipping a cocktail. Close to the parade, my team enjoyed chic settings and tasty cuisine. A highlight was the intimate performance venue with emerging talent. I even experienced a simulated bullet train ride! Conveniently located within walking distance of famous landmarks, the hotel provided a perfect base for my Americana adventure. Can't wait for my next quirky lodging discovery! Grazie!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city on 28th street in the floral district of Chelsea. The area is bustling with flower shops and the famous Flat Iron building is nearby. The staff here provide excellent service, from the friendly reception desk to the attentive housekeeping. The room itself was clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. Plus, the hotel offers a welcome drink at check-in, which was a nice touch.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was super close to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and we could easily walk to Shakespeare in the Park. The location made it so easy for us to enjoy the city's events and attractions.

We wished the hotel offered a more happening nightlife scene for young people like us.

I had a great stay at this hotel in the Chelsea district. The location on 28th street was perfect, close to Macy's, Times Square, and Penn Station. The staff was friendly and the rooms on the higher floors had a nice view. The basic amenities were in great condition and the breakfast was included at an excellent rate.

The hotel's prime location allowed us easy access to iconic NYC attractions like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and Times Square. The comfortable and spacious rooms provided a peaceful retreat for our large family after lively outings to Shakespeare in the Park. The staff, particularly Adam and Erica, were incredibly helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

My wife says that more kid-friendly entertainment options within the hotel premises would be great for families with children.
